Is there an online photo service that will send a personal note with the photos?

Asked by Supacase (14563points) May 11th, 2010

I am trying to send some pictures of my daughter to my grandparents. It is a long story, but I rarely see or talk to them. In fact, it has been about 15 years. We do write from time to time.

I want to include a note about the pictures I am sending, but Snapfish, Photobucket and Walmart do not allow for this. Does anyone?

FLICKR will do this. Pick “send to a friend” at the bottom of the photo, and a screen comes up with a place for the email address and a place for the message. I have a pro account but I think it is also true for free accounts.

I think Shutterfly and Picasa do too.

I think Picnik might also.

Are you talking about sending actual real photos?

If so why not take a picture of a letter and upload that with the selected images
Alternately you could make one in photoshop or the like.

Yes @Dog, I am talking about snail mail. Sorry I didn’t make that clear.

That is a good idea – I could scan in a note. They would think it is weird, but it is better than nothing!

You can store up to 25 GB of storage and send photos to anyone thru your email
