I love it…. I subscribe to a lot of video pocasts which I download to iTunes and forward to my appletv to watch later. Also the new software download allows you to download HD and regular formatted movies right from the unit. Apple.com has a great video all about it. Pretty much everything on my itunes is on my apple tv. Music, pictures, videos etc…. Great for showing photo slide shows when family and friends come over etc…. I am very happy with my purchase

I enjoy mine as well. It’s a tad pricy, but not outrageous. The downloadable rentals are cool, although pretty limited in the number of titles available. The 24 hour rental period is pretty stingy too; not really sure what’s up with that. As gas keeps going up, that drive to the video store seems less and less fun.

Being able to pause/rewind is wonderful, and having that instant gratification of watching your movie right away instead of waiting for your movie to arrive by mail Is a major plus too. I think if the price ever got down a bit lower, and the library of titles expands, it has the potential to be a big deal.

I have one and like it a lot. Before you get one, just be aware that you will be limited to very few file formats. As long as you think of it as a Wireless iPod for your TV, you will like it a lot. If you get it thinking it will be a Media Center PC or a Mac Mini, or a DVR, you will be disappointed.

All in all, I like it a lot and would recommend getting the one with the smallest Hard Drive.

atharkhan, thanks for the info. One thing though…you can convert other file formats to the file format AppleTV likes, so that’s not a big problem. Anyway, thanks to all who answered. I plan on getting one in the near future.
