Have You Had Cold, Green Soup Made With Veggies?

Asked by GrumpyGram (830points) May 22nd, 2010

I got a DVD for the fun of it on eating vegan. One of the recipes was a turn-off at best but some may enjoy it: she put celery, broccoli and kale in water in a blender and called it vegetable soup. Then she poured this green stuff into a jar “to drink at lunch in my hotel room.”
Does anyone enjoy this recipe for vegetable soup?

Cold soup is like cold coffee…....not on my list.

I can’t say I really enjoy it but I eat it on a regular basis. It’s very good for you. It works wonders for a sluggish gallbladder.

I worked for a lady who was a rawfood vegan. Some of her things were really good, some… blech. Personally, I don’t like to drink my vegetables.

I haven’t tried the cold green soup, but Gazpacho soup is delicious. With lots of ice cubes it is a lovely refreshing summer soup.
Here is the recipe:-

I have had a bowl sit on the table in front of me. I never put any in my mouth. Cold soup is like cold coffee for me; I don’t have to try it to know.
