Why does this come up when I try to remove a question from my queue?

Asked by tranquilsea (17775points) May 24th, 2010

This has been happening for a few days now: I hit the button to just “remove” a suggested question from my queue and I get this “Oh, no. We couldn’t find /closeinvitation/.” instead of just removing the question.

What’s going on?

Sounds like the question has been deleted or sent for modification in between the time it was recommended to you and when you tried to remove it.

Thanks.

Why wouldn’t it just disappear from the Questions For You list then?

It happens to me too so I stopped trying to remove them.

It doesn’t seem to get removed from the “Questions for You” list when it is pulled for some reason.

Also, if I am removing the question it means that I’m not interested in answering the question anyway.

It’s a glitchy thing that should be worked out. JMHO, of course.

Just out of curiosity can you post one of the questions?
I am very curious to know if perhaps the questions are being edited or were moved from one section to another.

If it happens again I will. After some persistent “removing” they are gone now.

This is a bug. We’ll fix it right away.

@ben Thanks!

There’s service for ya! I’m completely not used to any Internet forum being responsive to bugs lol
