Which cartoon or character are/were you irritated by, not a fan?

Yeah well Scrappy I mean that’s a gimme.Even Hanna & Barbera despised that little (careful kids are still watching) runt.

I really don’t like Snow White. I find her extremely irritating.

I am in the minority but I hate Family Guy, an adult cartoon posing as a kids’ show. The people who made this thing wanted a show that not only fools the parents into thinking their kids are watching kids’ shows, they also wanted an adult audience—and it worked.

@GrumpyGram: The Simpsons did it before Family Guy, and Beavis and Butthead did it, and Looney Tunes were even inappropriate for today’s PC standards.

For the record i’ll just say I can’t stand The Simpsons, there I said it so what. Sticks out tongue defiantly. Love Family Guy though.

@GrumpyGram As much as I hate Family Guy, it is not posing as a kid’s show, at all. It only airs on a channel called “Adult Swim”, I think that’s a sign. It’s not like it plays at 1pm on the Disney channel.

I despised Scooby-Doo as it was, so imagine how much I loathed Scrappy-Doo.

I haven’t really watched any of the new school cartoons since Futurama, so I don’t know enough about the others to hate them.

Chowder & Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends just weirds me out!

Oh, & I despise Yu-Gi-Oh! GX & Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s. The original is way better! But Yusei is cool, though.

Beavis & Butthead, South Park and I was nver a big Simpsons fan.

—as others have said- Scrappy Doo, snarf, zero or whatever the hell his name was. Basically any cartoon character put there for ‘comic’ relief.

Spongebob, Cow and Chicken. Family Guy. I used to really dislike the Simpsons too but I like it more now.

Wow I can’t believe the Spongebob haters. I love Spongebob. There really is so much adult humor that it overrides the weirdness.

@poofandmook I’m with you… so much Spongebob hate. It’s so funny sometimes, and it’s stylistically similar to Ren and Stimpy, another favorite of mine. My son likes it and it’s one of the few I let him watch.

I absolutely abhor any super-happy, prozac ridden shows with innocent and non-funny humor, and sugary sweet lessons in them. I’m talking about you, Dora!!! Dragon Tales and Caillou, too.

As far as I’m concerned… Jimmy Neutron can shove his pompous kid brain where the sun doesn’t shine.

I have never liked any of the cartoons based on violence and chasing scenes. My favorites are the Berinstein Bears, and most of the newer children’s cartoons, such as Caillou, Dora the Explorer, Diego, and my Grandson’s favorite the claymation, Roary the racecar. They are all excellent examples of what the world could be like, If Only, aarrgh, arrgh, arrgh.

Flintstones. Especially the flying martian.
Spongebob. I just don’t get it.
Pokeman. When my son was younger, he tried to explain it to me a hundred times.
Family Guy. Very random. Not very funny.
Bevis and Butthead. WTF?

Yeah pokemon is awesome. I’m planning to get a DS just for the new pokemon game.
I also want to add Metalocalypse. I’ll admit that I used to like their songs, but that was before I got into heavier and more extreme bands. And their jokes suck.

Also, I really didn’t like the old Superman cartoons from the 40s. That’s my favorite cartoon era, but… Superman just did not entertain me.

The Lord of the Rings Animated totally killed it

I hate Pikachu. In fact I detest all Pokemon with a burning passion and I would dismember them all.
How are they even supposed to be cute? The artwork is cheap and it sucks, they look really ugly and stupid, and the only thing they can say is their own names over and over, like they’re mentally retarded or something.
If I was a kid when that was popular, I’d be totally insulted and disgusted by the general notion that this is supposed to entertain me. I’d sooner enjoy a festering wound.
