Easy cocktail ideas?

Asked by Gemini (495points) May 29th, 2010

Ideally it would be wine based, or even liqueur based. No spirits please, I don’t drink them. My drink of choice has been champagne and Five-Alive but my champagne has been discontinued and the next one up is more expensive than I would like. I do like Sangria, but I need something I could mix up one at a time in a glass…maybe just 2 or 3 ingredients. I like bubbly but it isn’t a must, and not too sweet if that helps. : )

My father in law drinks the occasional red wine mixed with cola.

I’m a huge fan of champagne with raspberry juice.

You can use a natural or lightly sweetend.

Mix:

⅔ Champagne

⅓ raspberry juice

a couple drops of lime juice

garnish with thinly sliced lime and float a few fresh Raspberries….mmmm

Pomegranite juice is delicious too, same ⅔ to ⅓ ratio

Creme de cocoa and some nasty well vodka mixed with a dash of whipped cream. Shake well.

It’s called the “Santorum shot.”

One of my favs. is champagne with either raspberry or pomegranite juice.

⅔ champagne
⅓ juice with a dash of lime and a lime slice on the side.

Easy, delicious and champagne is known for it’s happy effects! lol
