What do I put in a Care Package to a friend in France

I have a friend who has spend the last 7 months in europe and naturally I have written to her numerous times, but I want to send a care package. What should I put in it? what kinds of foods would be good but will get through customs, any recommendations for good books?

uhhhhh. Hmm… I lived in France for a total 20 y. If this person is destitute, the social system will help this person much more than a care package. If its just because this person misses the US, he or she is a loser and should come back
