Which bank account is the best in Czech Republic?

Asked by tilc (126points) June 20th, 2010

I will relocate to CZR soon cause of work. They will transfer my salary to a CZR Bank account. So I should open one, but I don’t know which one is the best, giving the greatest benefits and a credit card is also a need. Thanks for the answers and help.

Raffeisen Bank (sp?) seemed pretty good. I was there just under a year and I had an account at this bank. I had no complaints.

You’re not likely to find the gimmicky promotional account options that are so popular in the US.

My friends who lived in CZR used UnicreditBank. http://www.unicreditbank.cz/en/home.html

Maybe they have free czeching? (Sorry, couldn’t resist)

Make sure the account returns your cancelled Czechs to you with your monthly statement!
