I need a new micro-SD card - suggestions on brand?

Asked by MyNewtBoobs (19059points) June 20th, 2010

I’m getting it for a birthday present, so I can get a little higher quality than my usual student budget allows.

I have always used Sandisk, personally, and I’ve not had any problems in the 4 or so years that I’ve used the two 1GB cards I have.

Sandisk and PNY are both good brands.

Personally, I trust SanDisk myself. I figure that after what my first Flash drive has been through over the years (like burying it in the snow for a couple of months and finding it in the mud after the spring thaw, or multiple trips through the laundry) should’ve killed it but didn’t, so Sandisk must’ve done something right

Sandisk makes good flash memory but I’ve always been partial to Kingston. They have the best no hassle warranty service and it’s lifetime warranty…
