Question about a question eternally being edited?

Asked by mrentropy (17213points) June 25th, 2010

So, I wanted to add on to this question because I achieved one, but whenever I go there it says it’s being edited. It’s been that way for probably close to 24 hours.

Is it really being edited? Was it really deleted? What the dilly-o?

Is this question worthy of being in “Meta?”

Fluther triangle.

Never to be seen again.

It has been tagged by mods to be fixed, and thus is no longer available in it’s current form.

No doubt for good reason.

The OP has the option of doing nothing and letting it sit there, editing and resubmitting, or deleting it entirely. I do not know if the latter results in a never ending message to what we see.

It also happened here.

That question is in the asker’s hands. As far as I can tell, they haven’t edited it or returned it to us yet.

Oh. Shame. Okay. Thanks for the info.

Nobody will ever know which of my goals I accomplished.

You’d be surprised how many people simply abandon question rather than edit them. I know I was when I became a mod.

I don’t actually remember anything wrong with the question; but it has been a long time ago.

But I’m not going to start a new question just so’s I can brag.
