Bill Gates has an estimated wealth index of in excess of US$70bn. An 8GB iPhone is priced at $399, so he could purchase around 17,544,000 according to this figure.
With a world population of over 6bn, he couldn’t would need $4.788e+12 to buy everyone two iPhones.

You also have to bear in mind that he doesn’t have $70bn sat in the bank, the majority of that is tied up in stocks, equity, investments and property.

He is a very rich man, but there are limits!
