What's with all the ear questions lately?

I was thinking that too….I even checked the names to see if they were from the same person! I have no answers for them though….. unfortunately

There are always a lot of ear questions because people don’t check the archives first, where there are a million Ear Answers. That’s why @HearKat has gotten sick of answering the same questions over and over.

And how many boyfriend/girlfriend questions must we see…?

@dpworkin Well, there seems to be more than usual lately.
@Axarraekji I keep thinking to myself “this isn’t a dating service!” But I did help one kid get a girlfriend, & I feel pretty good about that. ^^

I thought I had a bug in my ear. I did notice a lot of ear related questions though.

Hmm.. I only noticed two. Maybe ‘tis the season for ear infections. One of the most painful kind for a child. UGH… Has anyone heard about this whooping cough epidemic going on on the west coast?

It’s peculiar indeed, but some peeps on here seem to think that asking a buncha random dudes online stuff about their health is better than seeing the doctor. It’s common enough.

I think it was the same poster from a couple of days ago who didn’t follow the prevailing advice then, still has the problem and created a new SN when her repeat Q didn’t garner the responses wanted. Way too many similarities in details for coincidence.

Plus one long time member with most likely a (literal) bug in her ear.
