The Beatles: how many songs and how many albums did they record?

Wife and i were discussing the most talented group of musicians ever on the planet. we each had our favorites, but i believe The Beatles had it all. wife thinks The Beach Boys are number one. i really do not have a clue. so, The Beatles…...how many songs have they recorded, how many albums have they produced and how many of their songs made it to the Top Ten of BillBoard Magazine? this is a tall order and a tough question. ready, set….GO!
