What is wrong / connection with my wi-fi on my lenovo Y550P notebook?

I have recently purchased a lenovo notebook IdeaPad Y550P (Intel Core i7 720 QM – 1.6GHz)

when I turned on the wi-fi system on the notebook, the wi-fi router (LINKSYS model WRT54G, 2,4 GHz) starts to have problem (it keeps on turning on and off frequently)

is there any relation between the wi-fi system and the router which makes it have such problem?

This problem doesn’t occur with any other notebook I’ve used (dell, hp, toshiba) I have different notebooks to test them.

Does anybody have a solution for this problem? Has anybody ever encountered the same problem?
