How much for new HVAC on a Grand Cherokee?

I’m thinking about buying 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with a shot HVAC.

I have tried to google how much this can cost me to fix, but can’t find a good answer. Does anyone here know how bad/expensive this can be to fix?

Compressor replacement and labor could run $1500 to $2000. Not really a DIY project because it needs test equipment.
