Why is my Tattoo itchy and puffy?
I have a tattoo i been having it about 1 yr. And i was woundering why my Tattoo was itchy and puffy, has this happend to anybody? This is the first time this happens to me.

Did you get too much sun recently? Tattoos can sometimes be more sensitive to sunburn than you are used to.

You know what yes i have, a have a sunburn in my back and there’s were i have my tattoo.
And its funny because i only scratch half of my tattoo and only the part were i scratched got puffy.
I just checked my tattoo and it whent down i guess it is sensitive cause of the sunburn.
No more sun exposure that’s scary!!!!! lol
Half of my tattoo is almost always puffed out. Sometimes it goes down but not often. My body just reacted weird to the ink in that spot.
As others said though it sounds like a sun reaction, whenever i go out in the sun with my tattoo i always make sure to put at least spf 50 on it. You can never be to sure, and sun will cause your ink to fade much quicker.
Your tattoo artist should have informed you of proper tattoo care – you should always avoid direct sun exposure on your tattoo and always put sunscreen on it, more than in other places. Hope it stops itching soon – I know that drives me crazy.
