California is a pretty big place. Which part of the state will you be visiting?

Well, I’ve never been… but just off the top of my head:

Disney Land in Anaheim
Napa Valley (wine country)
San Francisco
Fisherman’s Wharf
Any beach
Doing at least one stupid tourist-y thing, like a tour of celebrity houses.
Get a picture of the Hollywood sign
I wonder if they do tours of studios – I’d like to tour Paramount, for example.

it really depends where in the state you’re going. Nor-cal is much different the So-cal.

San francisco, Los Angeles…if you’re into the usual megatropolistic scene.

I prefer the nature zone, so I’d go for the coastal Redwoods outside of Eureka Ca., Santa Cruz beach, Muir woods, Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Goldrush discovery site on the American river in Coloma Ca. ( my space ) about one hour from Tahoe off of Hwy. 50 east.

It’s a beautiful state.

I’d bring camping gear if you want to really get into what this state has to offer in terms of natural beauty, river rafting, beach combing, etc.

Have fun!

Oh..and the wine scene…Napa/Sonoma area and my zone again, El Dorado and Amador co8unties…a huge wine trail and rivals the best of Napa/Sonoma!

California is the third largest state in the Union. It takes up more than half of the US’s Pacific coastline. You’re going to need to be more specific about where in California you’re heading. :-)

Everything. You just have to know where to find it.

Wow, California is a huge state!

There is so much to see and do. It does really depend on where you will be in California.

Anything you can do in every other state, you can do in California, including ski in the summertime.

You can do just about anything !!! From a 14,000 high mountain to below sea level death valley. Ocean on the left, desert and mountains on the right. Just about the best year round weather in San Diego and a short trip over the border to Mexico. Take a ferry ride out to Catalina Island, sky dive in Elsinore…( you get the idea….).
