I’d make marinated grilled shrimp. I might even share it.

ZEPHYRA's avatar

Donate it to somebody.

MissA's avatar

Shrimp scampi, no doubt.

Austinlad's avatar

I wouldn’t mix it with anything else, I wouldn’t give it away, I wouldn’t share it—I’d boil it, cool it, and eat it with spicy sauce, that’s what I do.

If they were the biggie gulf shrimps I would skewer them with cherry tomatoes, pineapple and red pepper slices and bar-b-que them with a oil and garlic salt and pepper. Smaller shrimp would get scampied! YUM!

Blondesjon's avatar

I would find a couple of loaves of bread and feed each and every one of you after delivering a rousing sermon on why Chimpanzees are working on bringing about the end of Man.

I would just need to find a suitable hill . . .

Help them find their way to my tummy like the 3 pounds of crab legs I just bought!! Yum Yum double YUM! I am sure there would be butter, garlic, lemons and limes involved in this dance also along with the crusty garlic buttered bread =D

deep fry them in beer batter or make shrimp fried rice with some scallions and scrambled eggs

Eat them in different ways: Coconut, risotto, ravioli, kebab etc.

I’d run away. I’m allergic to shrimp.

ragingloli's avatar

fry it together with vegetables, rice and curry.

Seaofclouds's avatar

I’d give them to someone that would actually want them. I hate shrimp.

marinelife's avatar

It would depend on how big they were. If they were jumbo, I’d boil with bay seasoning and serve as shrimp cocktail.

If they were medium, I would make shrimp creole.

If they were small, I’d make a shrimp salad.

Your_Majesty's avatar

I’ll cook you a meal with that ingredient.

mrentropy's avatar

I’d bring it over to Austinlad’s place.

Simone_De_Beauvoir's avatar

I’d give it to my mom to make something for herself with.

Shrimp Linguine

Yields: 8 servings

INGREDIENTS:
1½ pounds cooked fresh shrimp
6 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ cup chopped parsley
3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
½ teaspoon dried thyme
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
1 (16 ounce) package linguini pasta

DIRECTIONS:
1. Cook pasta until al dente according to package directions.
2. While linguine is cooking, melt butter or margarine in a large skillet. Add garlic, and saute briefly to release flavor. Add cream; heat just to boiling, stirring frequently. Lower heat, and stir in shrimp, parsley, basil, and thyme. Continue cooking until shrimp are just heated through. Do not overcook shrimp! Remove sauce from heat.
3. Drain the pasta, and toss lightly with the sauce. Toss again with cheese, and salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

I’d give it away to some family member who likes to eat them, because firstly i’m vegetarian and secondly i’m allergic to shrimps. I doubt my husband knows how to cook them so he probably won’t make them either.

HOWEVER, i won’t turn down a big huge box of good quality chocolates (like Lindt truffles maybe.) :)

Sweet chili prawns, it’s the best!

iphigeneia's avatar

Cook them and eat them with my family. Or maybe I wouldn’t. I don’t know you, why are you giving them to me?

Depends on where it came from!!
Did you hear about those people who were freaking out because their uncooked shrimp were glowing in the dark? :) It was a natural protozoan that’s found in the ocean, that’s all. Harmless.

Frenchfry's avatar

@Dutchess_III No way! Really. I was making shrimp when I posted this question. I Love recipes and to laugh. I surprise No one said Id use to to go fishing. That is what my husband would do. Well mine did glow in the dark . That would be cool.

Frenchfry's avatar

Mine didn’t glow I meant. THAT is so cool. I want some. LOL

Dutchess_III's avatar

I don’t think it glows after it’s cooked, though. :)

BratLady's avatar

Dutchess_III's avatar

Whack people over the head wif it.

rooeytoo's avatar

@Dutchess_III – It is so funny you said that because just last week the headline on the front page of the NT News was about a guy who was attacked by prawns and of course it was a break-in and the homeowner used a pack of frozen prawns to bean the burglar! I’ll see if I can find a link.

Dutchess_III's avatar

@rooeytoo Hi ya! Haven’t seen you in a while! That IS funny!

rooeytoo's avatar

@Dutchess_III – G’day mate, nice to see you too. And yes, the NT News trades in outrageous front page headlines.

Dutchess_III's avatar

What is the NT News? Link?

rooeytoo's avatar

@Dutchess_III – It is the newspaper for the Northern Territory of Australia, in USA would be called a rag. Territorians are an interesting breed of people and the paper reflects that uniqueness! Have a look, although online isn’t as good as for real. They charge you for the real paper on line. http://www.ntnews.com.au/
