What are two methods of comparing whole numbers?

Not really any details I just need to know two methods of comparing whole numbers.

You can find the difference between them by subtracting the smaller from the larger and you can find the ratio of the two numbers.

Take the numbers 10 and 4. You can say that 10 is 6 larger than 4 or you can say that it is larger by a factor of 10/4 = 2½.
