Where are all the questions?

Asked by ETpro (34605points) August 19th, 2010

Ever since the downtime for the latest upgrades, there have just been a dribble of new questions in my “activity for you” list. Has the algorithm to select them been changed? Or did everyone pick this week for summer vacation? What’s up?

Andrew said “Dr J hurt his tentacle and so matching hasn’t been working today.” in this question when it was brought up earlier this afternoon. Hopefully Dr. J will be better soon.

@Seaofclouds Sheesh. Search must not be too hot either. I looked before I leaped. I didn’t find a previous discussion. Oh well. Thanks for the info.

It’s too bad Dr. J doesn’t have 90 tentacles like us Chambered Nautiluses do. I can hurt one or two or a few and keep right on tentacling.

@ETpro Well there wasn’t a question about the “questions for you” section. It just got mentioned in my question about adding topics to our profiles.

@Seaofclouds OIC. Glad to hear search isn’t kaput.

You have to use the ‘home’ tab, then choose from the tabs there. The Questions and Activity for us isn’t working today.

Sorry everyone, we’re having a difficult time tracking down a bug breaking “questions for you”. We will bring it back as soon as possible!

I lurve it when Dr. J is referenced; it makes me feel all flutherly inside.

@timtrueman At least you know we care. Thanks for the update and good luck tracking down and squashing the nasty bug.

I had figured it was still not working. Slogging through the questions reminds us all of how it used to be when Dr. J was a pup.

@marinelife A pup with tentacles. WHat sort of creature is this Dr. J?

I was wondering the same thing.
