Would you prefer to listen to Metallica or Nirvana?

Nirvana. I’m still going through my grunge phrase.

I rather listen to Neil Young over Nirvana and Motorhead over Metallica.

Nirvana, Kurt and bandmates were brilliant songsters. Metallica was a little dark for my taste….I like Nirvana’s snappy numbers like I Hate Myself, I Want To Die, Jesus Doesn’t Want Me For A Sunbeam and of course the ballad of Moist Vagina.

I think I’d have to go with Metallica, but I’d only listen to their music that was made in the 80s. Their new music sucks.

I like Metallica’s Kill em all album.

For the sake of this question, I have to go with 80’s Metallica, because I know their music more than Nirvana’s. I’d rather take For Whom the Bell Tolls waaaay over Smells like Teen Spirit. Also, I have to agree with @jeffgoldblumsprivatefacilities . I think Nirvana is kinda overrated

I hate both. But the lesser of two evils, for me, is Metallica.

Nirvana. While both bands are melodic, Nirvana was more so, and that’s what I prefer, musically.
