Is the government taking precautious measures for another 9-11 attack?

I think that one thing we don’t have to worry about is our government being lax in security.

Well, yes, of course, the government, they’re doing the very best they can to prevent another 9–11. However, their best may or may not be good enough.

Whatever real precautions are being taken, the average person will never hear about. As it should be.

I’m not worried about another 9/11. The poison in our water and air will kill more people.

The odds of a drunk driver killing you are greater. I refuse to live in in fear. I will drink and listen to music and make fart jokes. It has worked for 32 years. I’m sure I can continue the trend fear free.

@johnpowell makes a good point. There’s no reason to be afraid about things like this. There are more approachable things to worry about. We can’t know what the government is doing in its secret defenses.

I know they brought those all body scans in at the airpports that is causing such a stink.

Yes the Gov/Homeland Security and FBI are doing all they can to intercept and track these nutjobs. The grim reality is there is only so much we can do. If you really knew just how much was going on and being done you would not sleep at night.

It is inevitable that there will be continuing terrorist attacks throughout the world because the bad guys are working as hard to cause them as the good guys to prevent them. But like others above, I will not live my life in fear. Caution, but not fear. Because when I—we—do that, the terrorists have won.

You betcha. It’s the other 364 days of the year they want to get us afraid for, though, so that we realize that we “need” them to “protect” us.
