If you could only see one more concert for the rest of your life, what band/singer would you choose?

Asked by ftp901 (1318points) August 26th, 2010

Someone who is alive and could conceivably put on a show (e.g. not The Beatles).

Tool. I’ve already consciously made this decision, actually. If I ever go to another concert again.. it will be to see Tool.

Pink Floyd (and I’m seeing them in two weeks)

Elton John and Billy Joel together in concert.

My Chemical Romance <3

Since I have seen New Model Army (once), I guess I would have to go with No Means No.

@jjmah You’re seeing Pink Floyd in two weeks? Really?

Austinlad's avatar

@jjmah… PINK FLOYD !!! Lucky you.

The Doors lol…...Ok fine, Atreyu and Daft Punk (they’d be in the same concert).

Nancy Sinatra. No wait, I mean Frank Sinatra. No wait—he’s dead.

I don’t care. They could put a phonograph in the middle of the stage and play all his ‘50s albums, and I’d be happy to pay.

I could also sit through another Pat Metheny concert, which would be my 4th. Innovative jazz guitarist—GREAT!

Black Flag way back when Ron Reyes was the singer (1980).

I’d have to say Bowie. Again.

Iron Maiden, if they did their own version of this track. :D

I guess I’m not the only one who wants to see Pink Floyd some happy day!

RomanExpert's avatar

…sunny day!

@FutureMemory No. “Vera” by Pink Floyd.

Well, it’ll be Roger Waters and David Gilmor doing The Wall tour in Toronto. We’ll be missing Nick Mason and of course, Richard Wright.

No question about it, Jack White.

FutureMemory's avatar

@RomanExpert Oops, sorry. I thought you meant these guys

I would have to say the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, because Christmas time means a lot to me, and I love Christmas music. I could sing, and dance to it all year. :)

I would have loved to have seen Ian Curtis/Joy Division, but my next choice would be The Cure

Led Zeppelin.

Barbra Streisand

I keep @Trillian company if i may and go to see Bowie.

Steve Morse and the Dixie Dregs no question about it!

Everyone I want to see in concert is dead. But if they were alive I’d say Peter Tosh or Lucky Dube.

Cruiser's avatar

@Akua Luke Dube was my fav reggae artist! Heck Tosh is great too!

Akua's avatar

@Cruiser they were fantastic. I was sad to see they died so senselessly and violently.

Still My Chemical Romance. And HIM.
In the same concert? Please?
