How do I do this homework?

Asked by nailpolishfanatic (6597 points ) September 1st, 2010

I have homework for tomorrow and I don’t understand what I am supposed to do. Mom is not here to help me, she herself is at school. this is what it says.

Reading : Hand out ‘River as metaphor’
Exercise : produce notes in the Cornell format, abide by the rules taught by Jette, accessible under ‘Study skills’ on the homepage
Make sure that you get the main points of the article.
Activity : comparing notes, discussing register on the basis of your Eminem assignment.

Can you explain it to me in a much easier way?

Seems like you’re supposed to read the hand out and make notes summarizing the main points of the article. I don’t know what the format or jette rules are.

Do you know the Cornell note taking method? I’d give you a link, but your instructor says where that info is located.
