I have a smartphone plan with Alltel, can I step back down to a regular plan?

Asked by gravity (3116points) September 1st, 2010

I have had bad luck with smartphones and want to go back to just a messaging phone. Does anyone know off hand if you can step down your plan in the middle of your contract? Will I have to sign another 2 flippin year contract?

OH-OH Might be expense.

Contract may have a buyout clause to end smartphone usage.
I have Verizon Wiireless and it’s $350 ( pro-rated after so many months ).

Find your contract and see what it says. And yes you need to sign up for another two years.
