How many US companies are ripping off the government while in the Middle East?

Asked by Hypocrisy_Central (26879points) September 9th, 2010

How many US companies in Iraq and Afghanistan are ripping off the government which in turn is ripping off us? There are many companies doing unethical, illegal, and just plain Boorish stuff, some we know like Blackwater, Halliburton, and Mission Essentials Personal, but for each one we know how many of these cooked companies we haven’t heard of?

After 20 months in Iraq, I would say 99.9%. A lot of people are getting rich off war and the U.S. tax payers. But this is nothing new, it happens with every war.

More than I care to admit. Then again it isn’t much different within the US. Only thing is we have legalized it and covered up under various forms so that the graft isn’t so apparent.

War is a machine. It doesn’t work unless the wheels are greased.

Heck, even Israel is getting into the scam. We seem to be 3 million bullets short so we bought them from Israel at a higher price the we would pay domestic manufactures.
