Underneath it all, I probably don’t believe in it – but I sure hope it exists.

I would love to think it exists. I have seen one instance of it in my life.

I used to but no longer do. Doesn’t put things into perspective for me enough.

I definitely believe in it as it applies to day to day life and the cumulative effects of actions. So many times I have seen simple kindnesses lead to a chain of positive things that were not directly related to the original action. Conversely, I have seen negative cascades starting with a negative action. Too many to post, but enough that I believe.

I believe that karma is a useful concept that describes a real phenomenon.

In the real world, it matters how people behave. Behavior is catching. If people all start behaving in a good way, it encourages others to do the same. This is the “tipping point” concept. It’s why police are concerned with petty crime, like littering. If you start everyone into the habit of cleaning up, it actually reduced the serious crime rate once you’ve hit the tipping point.

So I believe that if I’m polite to someone who wants needs to turn into my lane, or if I give someone a helping hand, it encourages others to be polite while driving to help people out when they need it.

It’s about social politeness and it works. People tend to follow each other and are certainly influenced by each other. We can affect others in this way. What goes around, comes around. In real life. If we put positive energy out into the world, it grows and it comes back to us. If we put negative energy out there, then things get worse, and that comes back to us.

It’s karma.

I believe in Karma to the extent that when we do good for other people, others do good for us, and when we put out positive energy, positive energy comes back to us. I also believe doing bad to others and putting out negative energy reaps the same. I believe it because I’ve experienced both many times.

I believe in karma, and I have learned my lesson to never kill a spider again.
There was a spider that I couldn’t get it to go down the drain, so I fried the shit out of it with hairspray, and a lighter. That same night I got bit on the face. I guess there is a brotherhood of spiders.

No, I don’t. I believe in Chaos and probability.

I do…absolutely and I am in for some serious payback someday!

I notice that Karma seems to be based around probability and adaptation to things that normally and constantly go on in society, so I call bullshit. Ain’t nothing more than an elaborate bogeyman story for adults.

My wife is a very lucky(blessed) person. she reiks of good luck all the time. and yes, we both go to casinos and play bingo. i can tell when my wife is going to have ahappy blessed day. she just seems to “glow” with fun and laughter. we have proven this time and time again. we have been blessed.

I most certainly do, I have seen it many times and been the recipient of some amazingly good karma because I live a life of integrity. :-)
