Way to sort followers on twitter?

Asked by TheGreenBrideGuide (178points) September 13th, 2010

We have 4,000 followers and want to send a direct message to them. 1. Is there a bulk way to do that? 2. If not, is there a fast way to get to the people who followed us first? Twitter only shows about 20 at a time and only lets you scroll one page over at a time. A nightmare.

Why do you need to send a DM instead of a regular tweet? DMs are meant to be one person to one person, not mass text. The whole point of them following you is so that you can simply regular tweet and they’ll get the message.

If you make your tweets private, only those following you will get the message. This is essentially the same as a DM and the easiest way to do it i think.

Giving a direct message on Twitter is a excellent method to obtain in contact with one of your followers without creating your conversation public.
You can find it on the top right of your homepage, to the right of your search bar.
Exactly like for just about any tweet a person send, immediate messages also offers a establish limit of 140 characters, exactly like any twitter might.
In case your recipient has its own external website, then a person with the tackle of that website can see your own Direct Messages
Immediate Messages can just only be deliver by or obtained by a consumer and its fans. You are able to message your own follower, but if you act like you avoid follow your pet, he cannot reply to a person.
