How much can you earn through advertising with a blog with X hits per day?

Curious as to how much one could make.

It really depends on the topic, for instance a technology blog can make you about 10 dollars a day with 5000 hits. But about politics I believe the ads are cheaper as there is less demand. For some medical topics is higher. It also depends on your public. Which topic are you thinking of?
