I wanted to camp this summer. But the weather here has been absolute shit. It is 90 and sunny and the next day it is cold and raining. I think they said on the news it was the wettest summer in Portland that has been recorded. We didn’t have a summer.

I’m here, fresh from my first visit ever to Sonic, where I enjoyed a caramel java chiller. Mmmm mmm mmm! I was a little disappointed that the Sonic car hops didn’t have to navigate an obstacle course while delivering food on their roller skates. Some flaming hoops would have been a nice touch.

Just got back from Whole Foods with my favorite things in the world; a fresh baguette and pumpkin spread.

Was at the beach all day… home now. Got sand out of car and logged on to see what was up.

Just fixed the low fuel light in my TGP. That was my first near-traumatic car-fixing situation.

I’m so excited, I found all-natural, no sugar added homemade berry jam at the farm stand. It’s gold to a diabetic.

I had a fire in my house and had limited internet access for a time while my insurance co put me up in a cheap hotel, so I was gone for a while, too…
