Does anyone have any advice for a honeymoon in Costa Rica?

I am getting married in early Nov. My fiancée and I are thinking about going to Costa Rica for week. We are more interested in hiking and rain forest tours than sitting on a beach. Any suggestions about were we should go or stay?

Hiking and rainforest? Monteverde is the destination for you. Up in the mountains, in a cloud forest. Stunning place. Check out http://www.monteverdeinfo.com/ for more info.

there are lots of eco-lodges and hotels there. also, people say that the forest tour where you get to swing through the trees is pretty great. and there's the best cafe/bakery in monteverde -- you could spend hours there.

I recommend the same site as the other poster, Monteverde is the best rain forest in Costa Rica in my opinion. Arenal is awesome and works for a broad range of budgets, see http://www.arenal.net

If you want to spend some time at a beach and in the forest, Manuel Antiono is great, see: http://www.anywherecostarica.com/manuel-antionio-costa-rica/travel.htm

I live here in Costa Rica and I agree with the above. Arenal at night is spectacular. Monteverde is beautiful beach. You might algo want to check out papagayo. Manuel Antonio at the moment is have trouble with the sewage plant. It is suppose to be resolved by July but no promises. Punta Islita is beautiful but a bit expensive. http://www.costaricabureau.com/puntaislita.htm this is a beach
http://www.honeymoonincostarica.com/ this might help out. check out these packages. They have some that take you to arenal volcano and monteverde and beaches also.
