responding to all: ive noticed people either tend not to read the question fully and then attempt answering it. or they read the question fully then choose to ignore everyone elses answer, think they have a much better answer to the question, then end up saying something someone has already said ten times over. i just asked this question to motivate people to read the responses and not to just type in a half baked answer to questions just to get points or some other gratification.

@syntak Did you start this thread because you actually wanted an answer, or was it to complain? If you have complaints, you can use the contact link on the top of the page to let the moderators here know in private. It’s not in good taste to do so on the open board.
If your question is a serious one, people don’t always understand the questions if they aren’t worded in a way that only mind readers can answer. If the answers tend to get repetitive, and that’s annoying to you just be grateful that someone took the time to give their input and overlook it. The whole point of fluther is for the collective to discuss answers.

@iceblu: i think people dont read the questions of fluther simply because people just wanna have something to say. they arent worried about actually answering the question. they are just proud that they had something to say and want everyone else to read it.
