How do I get a new coffee stain out of my shirt?

It's a white cotton shirt and I just spilled coffee on it. Is there a quick, simple remedy that I can use so that I can continue wearing the shirt the same day?

if it's a white shirt, the best thing to do is to bleach it. I've also heard that for wine stains you can rub salt and cold water, but I'm not sure if that works for coffee.

GET to it the sooner the better. Bleach can sometimes cause other stains if fabric is treated to be whiter than white. Here are some tips..
