How do I get a downloaded ringtone from my itunes into my ringtones? I get a doe?

Is it on your desktop?

if you have the ringtone in iTunes, you should be able to select it when you’ve connected the iPhone and view the Ringtone tab. You may need to click the ‘Sync Ringtones’ before it lets you select all or just the ones you want.
