How do towels (or anything) dry?
I don’t understand. The water isn’t hot enough to evaporate.

The moisture evaporates…...and this is why it takes longer with lower temperatures…

I always though it happened faster in colder temps. That’s why ice disappears in a freezer.
And your lips chap in the winter, less moisture…
Humidity has a lot to do with it. I can remember summer in the mid-west. You shower and and can never dry off….
