Do you have a bug out bag?
Do you plan for disasters with a bug out bag (just in case!). If so, what’s in yours?

I just started working on a Go Bag, but have stored a bunch of stuff at home (mainly water and food). The City of San Francisco has a website with useful information for earthquake (and other natural disaster) preparedness, including suggestions for what to include in a Go Bag. Let’s hope we never have to use them.
I would be a complete disaster if anything is to happen. I’m totally unprepared for anything LOL
I don’t really have specific place for everything. But I could go a few weeks on the food and water I have tucked away. And I do a lot of camping and have all the stuff that goes along with that. And we have nine plump chickens and a duck in the backyard. I would hate to do it but I would eat them if needed.
And I live in a RV so as long as I have gas I will have electricity. I’m not really that concerned.
hey its not really a natural disaster if your prepared, = )
J/K, I should have a bag but I dont yet, what happens if you can’t get to the bag?
john do you live in an rv by choice? I mean do you just travel all the time? That would be so cool
@Alina
The funny thing is I have never had my license. I couldn’t drive this thing if I wanted to. Right now it is in a friends backyard. And it is actually really nice. I spent about six months gutting it and rebuilding. I have heat, internet, electricity, and cable tv.
But I am apartment hunting since this will be insane when it starts getting hot outside. When I do move I can have my sister drive my RV to the new place.. That will be awesome.
omg that is so cool!!!! That is really funny that you never drove ha ha. And wow you don’t even need an apartment with that thing! I to camping sometimes and my inlaws have their camper so laid out, its nicer than their house!
I have an adventure pack
bull whip
guide
astronaut ice cream
fruit jerky
fishing line
money
journal
pen
camera
Guns of course, to keep the people without bags at bay.
Z-malloc~ that’s the way my boyfriend feels! Haha, I guess you never know when an AK-47 will come in handy, right?
Don’t listen to me. I’m a fatalist ;)
some people keep a bag in their car/mode of transportation and one at their home. that way there’s always something nearby!
I live in southern Illinois and nothing ever happens here…until last week we had an earthquake and it scared the crap out of me! The whole house was shaking! Since then I have been making a list of things I would need for myself, daughter and husband if the “Big One” comes.
