Hi, before the Europeans came to Africa and before extensive contact with the Arabs, what did West Africans wear on their body? Did they wear clothes, what was their clothing made of, how much of the body did it cover?
Right now, Africans have a very flamboyant clothing culture, with the big head ties of the women and the white gowns of the men. When did this start?
