Carpet cleaning?

I have a bissell and I love it! It’s not even a new one. Mine is 8 years old.

does it get stains out too?

Depends on how old they are and what they are from. Add the type of cleaner you use to the equation, and hard or soft water. And my friend always borrowed mine until I moved to another state. She had her own Hoover steam vac, and she swore mine did a better job. No matter what you get it’s all down to personal preference. Oh and I do know that the lighter weight ones don’t do nearly as good a job, as a Hoover, or Bissell.
