Can you recommend a person/service that will record audio?

I have some materials that I would like to have recorded on audio (to create an audiobook) so I can listen to them while driving.

Is there a company that performs this service? Have you by any chance used such a service? Were you happy with the end result?

We hired a guy to do some audio for a Flash game we had to make at work. It was incredibly expensive. But he was a pro.

If you aren’t concerned with the quality of the audio you might want to look into putting up flyer’s around a university near you. I’m sure tons of kids will happily read into a microphone for some extra beer money.
