How can I generate traffic/$$$ for my webcomic?

So I did about three semesters worth of comics for my school newspaper and I finally got them all online. I threw Google Adsense on for revenue and I’d like to get some eyes viewing my site. Any good ways to generate traffic? Also, any good services for generating revenue? Any other tips are also welcome. Thanks a lot!
