It’s a lot easier to say “bad idea’’.

Does this have something to do with your wedding?

I think it might be easier to have someone dress up in a monkey suit and have them deliver flowers or whatever you want to send (chocolate covered frozen bananas might be a cute thing to send someone…)
; )

I own a gorilla suit and would volunteer to do this for you, but I live in San Francisco.

Cheeb: No, not for my wedding. A friend asked me to ask this for a birthday surprise he wants to give his girlfriend. I was expecting answers along the lines of “bad idea” but I promised my friend I would ask.

I was away for a week and didn’t see this question Riser, but I think you know what I’m going to say. Bad idea. Those entertainment industry animals are treated SO poorly.

Check it out, it may change how you or your friend thinks about chimps in entertainment.

Brownlemur,

My friend doesn’t have a soul and I was getting so sick of him asking me to ask this for him, I finally did… at the expense of losing respect.

cheebdragon's avatar

why would you lose respect for that?

Riser's avatar

being “the guy that wants to rent a monkey” was not something I wanted to be affiliated with.

cheebdragon's avatar

Its better than the guy who wants to rent a bear, I guess?
if you makes you feel any better, I still respect you riser ; )
