Why does handbrake, the dvd ripping app take so long to rip dvds, while other take only 30 minutes?
because handbrake also decodes it into a suitable format, whilst others, like mac the ripper, only rip the raw data off the disc….and there you have it
It doesn’t take that long. I can rip a 45min episode off a disk in like 15min on ipod touch settings
