Mine is “I Do The Rock.” Not just because Tim Curry sang it, but it is also really good

Pat Benatar Love Is a Battlefield, Hit Me with Your Best Shot, and although it was originally released in 1979 I consider Heartbreaker also of the 80s.

Ok, this is totally robmandu’s fault (I’m gonna be youtubing all night now!), but there’s also:
Cindarella
Warrant

And I can’t believe this didn’t come to mind before:

KISS
Rainbow
Survivor

This is almost impossible. If I must choose I’d say Every Day Is Like Sunday by Morrissey.

Speaking of Morrissey… How Soon is Now is a perennial fave of mine.

Cruel Summer. Bananarama.

Manic Monday and Eternal Flame. Bangles.

Lastly, anything by Cheap Trick.

How Soon Is Now is The Smiths, who are actually better than Morrissey alone.

Panama, by Van Halen. And no, I do not sport a mullet. Anymore.

Also, She Sells Sanctuary, by the Cult

robmandu's avatar
