Anyone know any good DC-area bands?

I need to find a band in the DC area to share a show with for August 6th at a venue called DC9. I’m not having much luck (we’re from Chicago). Can anyone recommend some decent bands I should look into? Feel free to pimp yourself out. Fine by me.
