At what size is a zucchini unsuitable for zucchini bread?

Those kinds of zucchini are meant for zucchini bread! They won’t taste good if you cook them, but they’ll make enough bread to start a bakery. That’s really the only good use of huge squashes. Yay! You can send loaves to your friends on fluther!

Well when the skin gets hard and the thing is as big as a man’s thigh. They make the best bread and butter pickles too.

I think you could also make an awesome soup with it. I know someone who did that with zuchs that got out of control! YUM!

No limit. Even huge baseball bat size zucchini will make nice bread. Happy baking.

no limit – i made about ten loaves out of one zucchini last summer. but you should definitely scoop out the seeds.

Unwatched zucchini knows no limits. It will take over your yard if you let it. As others have said, zucchini bread was invented for this reason.

If you get even too many for zucchini cake, bread, etc. you can grind it up and cook it in with your dog food. Also, if you know anyone who raises pigs, they love the big zucchini- the babies will play with them like toys; it is hilarious to watch!

Zucchini Bread with pineapple

3 eggs
1 cup oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups white sugar
2 cups shredded zucchini
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple-drained
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1–2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt

Mix eggs, oil, vanilla & sugar together. Then add zucchini, pineapple. Mix together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg. Add dry ingredients to other mixture. Grease & flour 2 loaf pans. Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour.
