Do you know anyone that has ever won a sweepstakes? Are they regulated? Must there always be a winner?

Great question. You’ve got a good point since you never really hear about a winner. I never really thought about it but I’m pretty sure someone somewhere in a far off land does win.

My dad wins sweepstakes all the time. He is pretty well-known now, since the LA Times ran an article about his winnings on the front page a few months back. Lots of other newspapers have picked it up too, and a couple radio stations.
