How do I change the language of my keyboard?

My friend played an April fool’s joke on me forever ago (obviously!) but the keyboard is still screwed up. Today I can’t get the number sign at all, and the quotation mark key is instead making a @. But not while typing in fluther! How crazy is that? It’s happening in word. Is it a problem with word? It’s a dell.

wtf! i just spent like 5 min writing an answer, and then all of a sudden I wasn’t logged into fluther anymore! i clicked “answer” and it was like “o responses”

before i waste my energy again, do you have xp? because i dont know how to do it in vista.

oops, i guess i do have XP. its very weird though, the problem isnt happening all the time but with word and also with outlook…..
