Remote app for iPhone/iPod touch no longer working?

Does anyone else have these issues, I’m using Vista, and after the first time of syncing it, the “remote” section under devices no longer appears, has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

I used the remote once, and then I suppose on the update to 2.0.1 it didn’t save my library, and since then I can’t use my remote app.

(and yes, I do have “search for remotes” setting turned on.

Anyone got a clue, or time to go bug the Apple people?

While some complaints after any firmware update are to be expected, there seems to be many people experiencing problems with the iPhone’s GPS after the most recent 2.0.1 update

There is currently an update for the Remote App in the App Store. It should fix the problem and now has Genius playlist support.
