How can synchronized divers mirror each other (and therefore get good scores) if one diver is taller than the other?
just wondering while watching the Olympics

I don’t understand… Do you mean “How are they allowed to do it?” or “How are they so good at it?”
I suppose it’s the latter, as the former makes no sense….
Because they practice for hours every day?
Practice, Practice, Practice.
Doing the same routine again, again and again.
It’s not matching divers, it’s synchronized diving. They take the same angle in the air for position changes and to hit the water. They also match their head, hand, foot and body positions.
