Are there any other Browncoats here on Fluther?
Firefly would have to be one of my favorite shows of all time. I only discovered it after it was cancelled (damn you Fox!!!). Thank the gods that they came out with Serenity. So I’m wondering if there are any other devotees of Captain Tightpants and the rest of his crew. How many of us are there do you think?

From looking at interviews, he seems to think it will be different this time. Also the Fox blog basically promised not to cancel before the end of the first season and acknowledged the horrible problems with Firefly and how it was handled, so I have hope.
Ah, but can we believe Fox? Dare we?!!!
I know nothing of what you speak. I did look at the Firefly website and it looks pretty cool, especially since Ron Glass is in it. It will take some reading to figure out what you are all excited about, but I will tune in to Dollhouse if you say so….
by the way, who is Jayne and is there room for more in her bunk??

I got turned on to Firefly by a friend after the fact and it’s now one of my all time favorites.

I saw Serenity before I even knew about firefly, and it became one of my favorite movies. Then I saw firefly in its entirety, and now its definitely one of my favorite shows of all time.

I like Firefly and Serenity a lot.. however, it’s been a while since I watched it and I don’t get the browncoat reference.. would someone explain?
